Phil is actively invovled in the Campaign to establish a US Department of Peace & Nonviolence. He is a speaker and fundraiser for the Campaign.

He will appear next as a keynote speaker at the Redding Citizens for Responsible Government Peace Rally on March 17th.

Awareness thru the Arts

Phil wrote a novel about the current occupation of Iraq and how it affects Iraqis, US troops and foreign nationals in-country that provide medical and other help for the people of Iraq.

He promotes this book by appearing at bookstores and doing readings ffrom the book as a way of sharing the Iraq situation with others.

2006 Political Candidate

In 2006 Phil ran as the Peace & Freedom Party Candidate for State Assembly in the 2nd District. His campaign consisted of running - literally- the 300 mile length of the District, passing through almost every town and talking to thousands of people.
